Hello, fellow adventurers. I’m Charlotte, a 21-year-old explorer from the UK. Along with Lily my handy sidekick, we aim to travel and see as much of England as we can. At the beginning of 2017, I made a late new years resolution to go somewhere or do something new every week. This led to a lot of hiking. Let the adventures begin...
With all the adventures this brought me on, I thought it would be good to write about them all, give my views on trails and any helpful tips that I can offer to you guys. So far we haven’t left the North of England because there are so many beautiful places to see and do.
Some of my future plans include doing up my own little campervan and exploring Ireland and other Western European countries, then onto the rest of the world.
Lily is a 6/7-year-old rescue dog. I presume she is a Corgi cross; the small legs give it away. I'd like to get her DNA tested at some point to see what's really in there! I rescued Lily 5 years ago from the RSPCA. Since then she has become my best friend with a brilliant, quirky personality. Lily loves balls, throw a stick, she isn’t interested but show her a ball and she doesn’t care about anything else. Which is good when it comes to other dogs as she isn’t always amicable with them. The term ‘typical b**ch’ comes to mind! She hates being fussed by other dogs; it may be a woman’s thing! But it’s usually best to keep her away from energetic dogs, just in case.
In my spare time, I like to restore run down furniture and create handcrafted products. It's satisfying bringing something back to life! If you'd like to follow adventures live, you can find us on Facebook and Instagram
